Our Italian doughnuts are currently manufactured under license in Auckland. Production is limited due to old equipment, leading to higher labor costs, compromised quality, and expensive ingredients in New Zealand. We seek investment and guidance to improve production efficiency and consistency, and to expand our product range.
Investment will enable us to increase production efficiency and consistency by acquiring new machinery and exploring overseas manufacturing, such as in Malaysia, to reduce costs and improve quality. Our new ZEPBOLONI line will combine Zeppola and Bomboloni doughnuts, offering a lighter, filled product. Currently, there are limited options for this type of product in New Zealand, with only a cream puff being marketed by PAM’s in the frozen section of supermarkets.
